When I was just beginning my CranioSacral journey I often wished I had someone easily accessible who had walked further down the road and could answer my countless questions and demonstrate technique and make sure that I was generally on the right track and not making things up!
The Upledger Institute has recently launched a new mentorship program that allows for just that. Mentoring offers a new practitioner a chance to receive professional mentoring to further their skills and confidence. I am now a certified mentor and so enjoy assisting others who are just finding this amazing profession.

What does 1×1 mentorship look like?

“1×1 mentorship looks different depending on your learning needs and goals. It might look like reviewing and practicing the techniques. It could look like tracking and having discussions about clients you are seeing in your own practice. It could look like co-treating with the mentor on one of your clients or one of theirs. There are many, many types of arrangements possible with 1×1 mentorship. Part of the additional training your mentor has undergone has been to learn about different mentorship arrangements and when one type of mentorship might be more appropriate than another. When you schedule a 1×1 mentorship session, your mentor is likely to work with you to establish your learning needs and goals and then make a recommendation on how best to meet those needs. Almost everything in the mentorship arrangement is about a supportive and collaborative discussion process between you and your mentor.”    Upledger Website

I offer mentoring sessions for 30% reduction of my normal rate.

If you have questions about the process or would like to make an appointment please call or email. I would love to work with you!

Study Groups

I also offer monthly study groups where we will choose one aspect of the work and discuss, demonstrate and then practice on each other. It’s a great opportunity to refine your skills as well as receive your own treatment. I also find that it is very helpful for people to hear other’s experiences in their practice – the things that are working as well as those that are not.
